I started teaching when my classmates began a student-to-student tutoring club at Rosemount High School. Incorporating my enthusiasm for my strongest subject, math, which I have loved since a little kid, I enjoy trying to help others feel this way too. The success of my club (which received a local Rotary Club award), spurred me on to help my college peers and classmates with their math assignments. There are few things that make me as happy as the expression on someone's face when they finally understand a problem with the hard work and determination it often takes.My ultimate goal is to help students get to this point. It just takes patience and determination. Elementary and middle school math, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, and trigonometry are subjects I tutor in the most, but I can help in any concept in arithmetic.I graduated high school in 2014, with a 3.96 GPA, in the top 5% of my class. Currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, I intend to declare a major in Actuarial Science and Statistics. Even with my college studies and tutoring work, I still find the time to enjoy a game of soccer or golf every now and then.
